Hoarding Support
Calgary Family Services provides support for people who hoard or collect excessively. Compulsive hoarding, as defined by Frost and Hartl, is "the acquisition of, and failure to discard, a large number of possessions. The living spaces within the home area are so cluttered that the space cannot be used for their intended purposes, and the clutter causes significant distress and/or impairment."
Hoarding is a challenge that can be addressed and help is available.![]()
