OUR BOARD

Calgary Family Services Society is registered under the Alberta Societies Act and as a Federal Registered Charity. The board is made up of Community volunteers who believe in the values of the organization and the work it performs.

The Society has always been privileged to attract the highest caliber of Board Volunteers. The 2011-2012 Board of Directors includes:

Calgary Family Services is mourning the loss of Bill McIntyre, who passed away in February 2012. Bill joined the board in 2002 and was a major support to the large staff of community caregivers employed at the agency. In 2010, Bill chaired the 100th Anniversary Committee, celebrating the establishment of Calgary Family Services in 1910. Bill was both supporter and friend and we will miss his cheerful enthusiasm, his encouragement, and his unconditional friendship.

The Directors come from every walk of life including the fields of Finance, Law Enforcement; Business; Education Human Resources and Public Relations.

Directors may be appointed for two consecutive three year terms.
