Calgary Family Services is a not-for-profit, non-government organization with a proud legacy in the Calgary community. For over 100 years our agency has been serving the citizens of Calgary, providing services, supports and strategies in support of our vision:

Strong families and communities for generations.

Our programs aim to enhance individual and family relationships, help children reach their full potential, engage older adults in their communities, and assist vulnerable citizens in maintaining dignity and respect. Individuals, families and communities turn to us for support and solutions through childhood, adulthood and elderhood.

Moving forward into our next 100 years, we have embraced the theme of Building and Bridging. Our aim is to build a strong and inclusive internal team and to carry that passion and momentum out into the community, fostering strength and resilience in a diverse and growing population, and to then bridge the social, economic and cultural barriers that divide citizens so that we may all participate fully in this great city we call home.

Just like our agency and the city we call home, our website is growing. We are working to make this site more engaging and interactive with the aim of showing you not only what we do but who we are. Our agency thrives because we are supported by so many wonderful people, both inside and outside our walls: staff, board members, volunteers, funders and a diverse community of stakeholders who share our vision.

We invite you to browse our site and get to know us. You will find lots of information on our growing and evolving menu of programs, services and resources, as we strive to continually adapt to the changing needs of citizens in a large, bustling and sometimes overwhelming city. If you can't locate the information you're seeking we welcome you to contact us for personal assistance.

Welcome to our family.
